Quality Espirelle

Espirelle is a special acrylic branded yarn of guaranteed consistent quality. Although difficult to distinguish with the naked eye there are large quality differences between different acrylic yarns. Espirelle is a thermo-fixed two-ply yarn spun at high revolutions. It has excellent resilience and a natural "wool look". Espirelle distinguishes itself by large restorative capacity and easy maintenance.

Our Rugs are supplied with the TüV/TFI certificate. Following extensive tests of the recognised independent Textile & Flooring Institute based in Aachen. The certificate not only guarantees the quality of our carpets, but also that they meet all standards in the field of harmful products, emissions and odour. The certificate also specifies the use class of the carpet, indicating which area and use intensity the carpet is suited for. All rugs are suited for normal household use.

The comfort and quality of the carpets are determined by the pile height and density of the yarns. The comfort is designated by one to five stars. The number of stars in combination with the use class is a good indication of the price/quality ratio of a carpet.

A unique TüVdotCOM number guarantees the control and certification of the carpets. This unique number offers you the opportunity to request test data, if necessary, via the internet.

Quality Wool

All hand tufted woollen rugs are produced to the highest standards in the best production factories of handmade rugs.

Only premium yarn is used for tufting such as New Zealand Wool and finest Silks. Our products have been certified with “Extra Heavy Residential” (Certificate CO-CT 1949). Every rug has been hand tufted with specific techniques such as finest loop lines and silk effects, making each one unique in design identity.

New Zealand Wool is a biodegradable raw material that is ecologically beneficial and a pure natural product. This type of wool fibre is naturally hard-wearing, crease-resistant and is anti-soiling as well as flame-retardant. One advantage of this yarn is that its natural colouring make it an ideal base to dye into the most brilliant and modern colours.

If you choose for a Wools of New Zealand rug you are guaranteed the highest quality and style. Whether your preference is from an ecological or esthetical point of view, we believe that you will be satisfied for many years to come by having such a high quality rug adorning your home.

The brand Wools of New Zealand is a registered trademark. If you decide to buy a real quality rug product look for the fern symbol from Wools of New Zealand.
